Enjoy the beautiful California scenery on a 1.6 mile hiking/walking trail by visiting Turtle Rock Viewpoint Trail. While this is a relatively short trail, you will be able to view all of Irvine from the top of the hill. This trail is free to the public and accessible year-round. Additionally, it is rated as a moderate trail, so it should be a relatively easy trek for most hikers.

Irvine Museum

The Irvine Museum is dedicated to preserving and showcasing California’s Impressionist Period art. The museum houses a collection that was donated by the University of California, Irvine. With a rotating collecting that changes 3-4 times a year, there is almost always something new to see. Admission is free to all visitors, but donations are accepted and appreciated.

With a whopping 1,347 acres, Orange County Great Park includes attractions and activities for all ages. With free summer concerts and movies on the lawn as well as art workshops and story times, there are tons of great daytime and evening activities for individuals and families to participate in. Check their calendar of events often and mark special activity dates in your calendar, so you don’t miss out on any of the fun!

William R. Mason Regional Park

Located on University Drive, this park offers something for every member of your family. William R. Mason Regional Park covers nearly 339 acres with a 9-acre lake and several outdoor areas to enjoy such as picnic areas, softball backstop, turf areas, hiking and biking trails, volleyball courts, vita course, three children’s playgrounds, an amphitheater and much more.

Note: There is a $3 fee for parking on weekdays and $5.00 fee on weekends, but we think it’s well worth the charge!

Harvard Skate Park

Operated by a highly qualified and experienced staff, Harvard Skate Park features many skateboarding obstacles that skaters love to tackle such as the Pyramid, the Spine, the Bowl, Rails and more.
