If you’re looking for a personal trainer, you may need only look to your community fitness center. Costa Verde Village and the Towers at Costa Verde offer Iron Orr Personal Training Services. Iron Orr was recently voted the 2022 Best Personal Trainers in San Diego. Your workouts will be customized with your body, abilities, and goals in mind to ensure full satisfaction. LUX UTC also has access to all facilities available through Costa Verde Village’s Aqua Bella Fitness Center.

Basketball, Racquetball, and Squash Courts

Maybe working out solo isn’t for you. If you’d rather join in on something a bit more competitive, you can always hop on Park 360 at 360 Luxury Apartments, available to both 360 and La Jolla Crossroads’ residents. It comes complete with a full basketball court, cabanas, and even a scoreboard. Start a tournament with your friends and neighbors. They even offer clinics for both youths and adults so you can refresh your skills before your next pick-up game.

For those looking for something competitive yet a bit more private, perhaps racquetball or squash. La Jolla Crossroads, Costa Verde Village, and La Regencia all have racquetball courts. The Towers at Costa Verde has both racquetball and squash courts available.

Swimming

Perhaps you’d prefer to get your workout in while staying cool in the water. Several communities offer lap pools, like Torrey Gardens, Towers at Costa Verde, and La Regencia. Water offers more resistance than air so your workouts will be high impact without making you break a sweat. You’ll stay cool in the water while getting great exercise. Win-win!

Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, Barre, and Spin Classes

Performing Yoga

For those looking for a feeling of community without the competitive edge, consider taking one of the many classes offered at UTC communities. Nearly every community offers Pilates, Zumba, and/or Yoga, while some others offer Spin and/or Barre classes. Working with one of our certified instructors will ensure your form is great and your workout is even better.

Whether indoor or outdoor, solo or in a group, the communities in the University City neighborhood of San Diego will have what you need to reach and exceed your fitness goals.
